It is natural that we're trying to protect and save everything that dear for us. For centuries an icon has been the most cherished object for a Christian. Each village house, regardless of income, had a patroness – an Orthodox icon. Neither enemies nor centuries did not disperse and destroy the Faith, destroy the love for the Lord. The desire to preserve, protect and transmit the most precious relic to future generations led to the creation of an icon case. Icon cases can differ.
